ImageAerial photography used to mean expensive use of aircraft typically flying 1000 feet or more above the ground costing upwards of $1000 and troublesome flight restrictions and planning. Lens Aloft Aerial Photography has brought affordable birds eye views to the general public and professional alike utilizing the latest Canon 10 mega-pixel digital camera with image stabilization and our custom made mast, Lens Aloft Aerial Photography provides a cost effective, high impact, elevated photographic service, which can be used for a multitude of applications.

Our portable telescoping 15 meter (50 Foot) mast and a specially adapted ‘go anywhere’ SUV vehicle or mobile via our tripod and guy wire system, and on-board photographic system, provides the platform for our photographic service.

The elevated images are previewed from the ground via a laptop thus ensuring the best pictures are taken. The control unit and remote capture software allows the camera to tilt, pan and zoom to capture the perfect series of images and can be rotated a full panoramic 360 o. A series of photographs taken a different heights and angles can be easily achieved.

Features such as outbuildings, attractive landscaped gardens, water features, swimming pools, etc can be captured in one single image and shows at a glance, how they interact within their surroundings.

How can I make my property look it's best?
Images are taken from various heights and angles, saved in various sizes to suit both web and print applications, and burnt to CD at the office.  Your images are then delivered to you via email or USPS mail in specially designed envelope on CD within 2 days typically
What's on the CD?
  • High quality native size JPG images suitable for print applications
  • 800 x 600 <100kb JPG images suitable for internet applications (eg; www.realtor.com), or e-mailing to clients
  • Images sized/cropped to your specification
PIXresizer Free image resizer software
PIXresizer is a photo resizing program to easily create web and e-mail friendly versions of your images with reduced file sizes at your convenience
Are there restrictions on using Lens Aloft supplied images?

  • No, you are free to use them where ever you choose, within the bounds of the licence granted, ie;

    • Real Estate Agency website
    • 3rd party websites, eg; mynkyhomes.com, suzierealtor.com etc
    • brochures & flyers
    • print media
    • Office Window slide shows
    Any other forms of property marketing you choose to employ
When can't the telescopic mast be used?

  • We either shoot from the same side or other side of the road, depending on the situation. Things that might stop us are;

    • Overhead power lines directly above where we need to park
    • Excessive traffic and/or not being able to park the vehicle
    Excessive winds or lightening reported in the area
    • This rules out most ground based camera platforms in these circumstances anyway.
    Multi-list Policy
    If Aerial View has already shot a property for one agent, we will not resell these same images to another Agent, nor will we re-shoot the same property for somebody else. This gives our first-in client exclusivity. First in, best dressed, so if you want your listing to stand out, contact us quickly.
Where does Lens Aloft operate?

We primarily cover the Cincinnati and Northern KY areas. Being SUV based, our mast can get into most locations with ease, whether it be urban or countryside. We will however work with you nationally or out of our normal 25 mile/ 30 min driving range, see pricing area for details.

Do I need to be present for shoots?

No. Your time is valuable and probably have other things to do. You are most welcome to watch though.

For private property shoots, you, the vendor, or a representative will need to be get permission so we can legally park on property. A Rest assured, the job can be left in our capable hands, and we will represent your office in a professional manner.

What are the payment options?

We offer several convenient payment methods to suit your own individual workflow.
